About Me

Priot to entering my final semester at the University of Missouri - Columbia this upcoming fall, I'm finishing my third internship in baseball media, working as the radio broadcaster for the Wisconsin Rapids Rafter in the Northwoods League.

In Wisconsin Rapids, I am calling all 72 games over a 77-day span on WFHR 97.5 FM/1320 AM and am the lead media contact between players/coaches and other outlets. Every game, I prepare rosters, create game notes, conduct interviews and write press releases while also helping the team coordinate roster moves and starting lineups with the league in cooperation with the coaching staff. Along with these responsibilities, I do my best to help out everywhere in the ballpark during home games, assisting the television broadcast, working with the social media team and doing lots of operations work to get the park ready for game time.

As a student at MU, I am majoring in journalism and following the career path in Television/Broadcasting. I have also completed all of the requirements to earn my certificate in Sports Analytics. At the conclusion of my sixth semester, I had a 3.81 GPA. I am also currently the Sports Advisor within KCOU, the student-led radio station at Mizzou which broadcasts both on 88.1 FM Columbia and online. I previously served as Sports Programming Director for two years and have commentated and produced many games while also co-hosting three shows; The Starting Five, Mizzou Sports Daily and NBA on the 66.

Along with KCOU, I am a part of the Show-Me Sports Network in Columbia, an online-based broadcasting site that provides coverage of high school sports in the mid-Missouri area. I called every football game for Hallsville High School in 2023 and 2024 while also calling 50+ games of baseball, softball and basketball over the past two years.

Prior to my junior year, during the summer of 2024, I earned a more advance role in the media department with the Sioux City Explorers after previously interning the summer of 2023. I was able to call play-by-play during the fourth to sixth innings of every home game and provided color commentary during the rest of the home innings. I also worked with the players and coaches more, getting interviews for the pregame and postgame shows of our home games. I also ran the board at our local radio station KSCJ during away games and continued with various other duties.

In 2023 I also interned with the Sioux City Explorers, taking the role of the media assistant. I worked side-by-side with Dan Vaughan, the lead broadcaster, while also holding many responsibilities. I prepared parts of the game notes, made stat packs, wrote game stories, created highlight videos, ran the social media for everything gameday related, created video board graphics, rotated between running replay for the broadcasts, the video board, PA, and posting highlights, and was a part of the pregame show during away games.

While at Lee's Summit West, I was the Sports Director of the broadcasting department, planning coverage of varsity sports, communicating with others, and making sure everything went smoothly. Along with that I commentated games and was a reporter and anchor for Titan TV, the broadcasting department's monthly show, and a social media manager.

Outside of the broadcasting department, I achieved a 4.35 GPA throughout my high school career while competing in recreational sports such as baseball, soccer, and basketball and being heavily involved in the LSW Theatre program. To balance with theatre and the recreational sports, I was also on the school's Scholar Bowl team, a competitive trivia club, along with being a pole vaulter for the track & field team.

Outside of activities and school, I also worked as a team member at Culver's. Whenever I have free time, I love to watch sports, play sports, play sports video games, or play in fantasy sports leagues, so safe to say I live in the world of athletics.
